Spoiler alert! Scroll down to see who was voted off this week (May 16).

Last week was the tear-jerking loved-ones episode, but that played background to the play (or non-play) of the season when Wendell seemed to be on the ropes, but didn’t play his idol … and it turned out that he didn’t need to as Chelsea got her torch snuffed. We’re down to seven now, so that will give Wendell a nice chunk of power as we close out the season. But power is a fickle mistress on the beaches of "Survivor."

Now, on to this week! Back at Lavita, Kellyn is now at the bottom with Chelsea gone, so now she’s trying to stir things up. Laurel and Kentucky-boy Donathan are pow-wowing about getting one of the "strong boys" – Wendell or Domenick – out of the game. And Kellyn gets her wish quickly, Donathan now wants her help with operation "strong boys."

Off to the reward challenge. Three teams of two. This one is crazy. They will try to keep a maze of spools going simultaneously without any hitting the ground. This will be about timing and stamina.

They will draw for captains, captains choose a parter, one person will be left out with no chance at anything at all. Teams are Sebastian and Kellyn, Donathan and Laurel, Dom and Wendell … Angela sits out.

Get caught up on how we got here: Episodes 1/2 recap, Episode 3 recap, Episode 4 recap, Episode 5 recap, Episode 6 recap, Episode 7 recap, Episode 8 recap, Episode 9 recap, Episode 10 recap, Episode 11 recap, Episode 12 recap.

Let’s go! Things got crazy quickly, lots of running back and forth, especially as they add more and more spools. I’m getting dizzy. They have five spools going now. And just like that, Domenick and Wendell win reward of fried chicken, chocolate cake and a charity trip.

They choose to bring Laurel with them and send Sebastian "The Pirate" to Ghost Island to go advantage hunting for the "strong boys" cronies. Donathan is pissed that the guys he’s been voting with didn’t take him. He’s feeling like the odd man out. Uh oh.

Now we’re with Sebastian at Ghost Island. He gets a three-out-of-four chance at an advantage, and he strikes gold. He gets Kellyn’s old, misused extra-vote advantage. There’s some big power. Let’s see if he keeps this a secret or uses it to stir the pot.

Domenick, Wendell and Laurel brought toys to some local children and then ate well. Domenick and Wendell are trying to make Laurel think they are with her, make her feel at home with them, but she’s not fooled.

Back at Lavita, Donathan is dropping "truth bombs" trying to start a Dom vs. Wendell battle. But he’s just making enemies out of the both of them. Hope he knows what he’s doing here.

And here’s a mountainous immunity challenge. Build a bridge with planks, build a ladder to climb a tower, then solve a puzzle. Here we go!

Wendell gets out to a nice lead. Angela and Donathan are battling it out for dead last. C’mon Angela, where are those Army skills? And now everyone is on the final puzzle while Angela is still trying to build a bridge. Yoy. Exhaustion is a big player in this game.

And Laurel wins individual immunity! But, oh snap! Wendell had it solved first … But didn’t. Call. Jeff’s. Name. Oops, $1 million mistake? Laurel keeps the win, Wendell accepts his mistake.

Laurel wanted to get Wendell out tonight, but is going to aim for Kellyn now because "it wouldn’t feel right" to get Wendell out since he kinda-sorta won the challenge.

During "casual" conversation: quote of the day from Donathan: "If ya’ll wanna blindside me tonight, please let me know." Haha. That wouldn’t be a blindside, Donathan! But his sketchiness is not doing himself any favors in the eyes of the rest of the tribe.

Everyone keeps telling Donathan that the vote is Kellyn, but he’s convinced people are aiming for him, so he’s getting more and more paranoid. So he runs to Kellyn to try to get Domenick out. Calm down, boy!

Time for tribal council. It’s night 35, guys and gals. Nearing the end.

First topic, everyone is exhausted, mentally and physically. Next topic is Donathan’s paranoia. As things heated up, Domenick asks Donathan if he can talk to him, Donathan says "No." Cue the "wow" faces. Then he tells Jeff he’s going home tonight. What are you doing, Donathan!? Good gravy, let’s vote.

No one plays any idols, here are the votes: Domenick, Donathan, Kellyn, Kellyn, Donathan, Donathan, Kellyn. It’s a tie. Revote, you can only vote for Kellyn or Donathan, and those two will not vote.

Now the new votes: Donathan, Kellyn, Kellyn, Kellyn … That’s enough, Kellyn gets voted off this week. Maybe they want to keep Donathan because he’s going crazy and they wanna bring him to the end now. And guess what, Angela Perkins has made it to the final six!

Next week on "Survivor": The two-hour finale airs Wednesday, May 23, at 8 p.m. on CBS, followed by a reunion show at 10 p.m. Can’t wait!

See ya next week, Jeff!

Spoiler alert! Scroll down to see who was voted off this week.

Last week (Episode 4) was a good one for Mason’s Angela Perkins on "Survivor: Ghost Island." She showed off her strength and helped her Naviti tribe win a reward of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. That’s gotta help your beach cred. Naviti also won the immunity challenge last week, so Angela was in no danger of going home. Brendan, of Malolo, got his torch snuffed in last week’s tribal council.

Now, on to this week! (March 21)

Back at camp after tribal, Malolo reeled over Michael’s lie about the "double power" of his immunity idol, a play that ended up failing anyway. But Jeff Probst wasn’t messing around, it was straight to the reward challenge. Coffee and pastries … "Cinnamon rolls!"

Chris, a former pitcher in college, destroyed the challenge (in a good way) with a cannon arm in the bean-bag-tossing challenge, sealing an easy victory for Naviti. After said destruction, he exclaimed, "I want those pastries!" Ahem. Quote of the season?

Here’s how Angela got this far:

Angela showed her Army-training strength as she scored a point for Naviti in an all-girl tug-of-war in the water over a lifesaver, fueling her team to the eventual win in Episode 4’s reward challenge.

After a drawing of rocks, Stephanie was sent to Ghost Island, where she was not offered a 50/50 game for the chance at an advantage.

At Naviti, it was coffee and pastries time. Kentucky-boy Donathan had a bit of an "I miss home" moment missing his family. Chris and Donathan bonded over similar family health issues.

The immunity challenge was a fun pull-the-boogie-board-then-solve-the-puzzle battle. Malolo suffered several setbacks, falling behind as Naviti started the puzzle. Malolo caught back up and made a close game of it. But, huzzah! Naviti held on to win, keeping Angela safe for another week!

So, let’s have some fun watching the carnage across the beach. At Malolo, it seemed written in the stars that one of the original Malolo members (outnumbered 3-5) would go home, putting Jenna, Michael and Stephanie on the chopping block.

Desiree did the Survivor "no-no," looking through Stephanie’s bag for an idol, finding nothing. Tisk tisk. #GhostIslandKarma?

At tribal council, it almost felt like the final tribal council, with Jeff asking each of the three danger-zone players to state their cases for why they deserved to stay.

After a decisive and expected vote, Stephanie was voted off.

Oh, snap! The "next time on Survivor" preview featured an "everyone, drop your buffs" from Jeff. Uh oh! On to the next episode!
