SEMINAR DESCRIPTION
Many creatures fly, but how do they accomplish this, and in what unique ways do they do so? This seminar will detail the variety of ways in which God has brought the wonder of flight to these Day Five creations. The biological theme of "structure and function" will be brought to life in this survey of insects, birds, and bats. God has engineered marvelous features worth investigating. Chard will survey a variety of ways in which creatures fly, and the structures that make it possible. He will also bring to light the aesthetic and engineering wonders of these designs, and critique the evolutionary attempts to explain what we observe. You will "walk on air" when you appreciate what the Creator has done.
Chard Berndt, age 38, is in his eleventh year teaching middle and high school sciences, and resides in Filer, Idaho. He has authored Biblical Classification of Life, a biblical approach to biological taxonomy, and published a variety of articles and papers online, in Creation magazine and Creation Society Research Quarterly. Chard is working toward his science education master's degree at Institute for Creation Research. Chard enjoys his wife of seventeen years, and his four adopted children, ages 8, 9, 10 and 10.
