ABOUT THE PRESENTATION
Many believe the Bible has nothing to say about education, but this is FAR from the truth of the matter!  The Bible has guided the education of God’s people since Abraham.  Public education is, in fact, the “new kid on the block”.  Home-schools and private schools ARE the conventional system. They have the historical and the proven track record. This presentation will provide a basic historical summary and history of Biblical-Education. It will also expand the foundation for home and private schooling as well as enlighten Christian parents who send their children to public schools.  Fasten your seat belts for a fascinating journey through the centuries! ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Dennis Dickinson has been working in ministry and education for over 20 years.  He has a Masters degree in Biblical Studies and is the former Director and a Professor at the Biblical Studies Center in Emmett, Idaho where he taught Biblical Languages and Theology. 

Background includes:
* Teaching the Bible and Theology for 24 years.
* Director of the Biblical Studies Center developing and teaching 
   courses in Greek, Hebrew, Counseling, Old and New Testament
   Introduction and Church History.
*  Former Associate Pastor of Gem Community Church.
*  In charge of multiple short-term Youth-Mission groups to Mexico.
*  Senior Pastor of Council Bible Church.
*  Holds certification in Financial Counseling.
*  Speaker at Camps, Conferences and Seminars.
*  Teaches Latin, Logic and Rhetoric at Private Schools and Home
    School Groups.

Dennis grew up in Idaho where he now lives with his wife Gloria.  They are Home-Schooling their 6-year old grandson Alex.
