Purpose:  To prepare Christian teachers to teach or present accurately and with confidence a biblical worldview of origins using the Bible, scientific evidence, and critical thinking skills.

Target Audience:  Christian school teachers, Sunday school teachers, pastors, youth leaders, home school teachers, parents, and High School students.

This course is ACSI approved for 1 CEU in either education or Bible.

Course Length:  1 day  (8:30 – 5:30)

Course Cost: $30 per student (includes lunch)

Student Materials:  Each student will receive a student manual and a DVD containing PowerPoint presentations and graphics.

·       Going after foundations – asking the right questions

·       Critical thinking skills – recognizing deceptive and illogical  statements

 

Science and origins

·       Science, logic and critical thinking

·       Science made easy, interesting, and truthful

·       Making Christian education the BEST education

·       Techniques for training students for success

·       How to get students to retain and utilize information

·       Presentation and teaching skills

 

 

Instructor

Mike Riddle - Mike holds a degree in mathematics and a graduate degree in education. He has been involved in creation ministry for more than twenty five years. Prior to getting involved in creation ministry, Mike was a captain in the U.S. Marines and a national champion in track and field. Mike’s teaching experience includes high school mathematics, the Northwest Graduate School of the Ministry, Sunday school classes, and teacher training courses. Mike also spent over 20 years in the computer field where he managed U.S. Sprint’s world-wide technical training and Microsoft’s world-wide engineer training. Mike currently travels nationwide with Answers in Genesis lecturing and teaching on creation apologetics, Christian education, scientific evidences, and developing a biblical worldview.
