FOUNDATIONS IN GENESIS OF IDAHO/OREGON

PRESENTS

EVOLUTION IN THE CLASSROOM

Featuring

DR. JOSEPH MASTROPAOLO

ABOUT THE TOPIC:   There has been much controversy lately in Idaho regarding what resources should be permitted to use in the classroom (the Bible).  What about what has and continues to be taught in the classroom? What impact is evolution having in the classroom?  Is the information in the students textbooks true? In American public schools, teaching evolution suppressed science achievement 50% and mathematics achievement 40%. Teaching evolution also is associated with the extermination of the entire biosphere which, except for selected humans, is considered weak. Unanimous textbook frauds and forgeries to support evolution. High school and university, undergraduate and graduate, textbooks were reviewed to evaluate the chapters on evolution. With one exception, there were no references for any of the material although picture references were in the hundreds, in one case over 1,000. A graduate textbook had scientific journal article references, but none for its 109 speculations on evolution.  Without exception, the evidence was anti-evidence, that is, unanimously based on blatant frauds and forgeries accompanied by censorship of the true science that refuted evolution. Sixty-five (65) textbook frauds and forgeries were found.13,14 Like the law, science is based on the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.

Children will receive an interactive mini-lecture combined with demonstrations, songs, experiments, games, activities and snacks that all reinforce the topic.  Critical thinking skills are encouraged.  We have grand time learning, sharing & exploring theories, biology, geology, chemistry and more.

ENJOY OUR FELLOWSHIP TIME  Please bring finger foods for our fellowship time following the seminar. This fellowship time is a great opportunity to ask questions, meet new people, and to visit with the speaker and with friends.

CREATION RESOURCES will be available for purchase at both locations.  DVD's, books, T-shirts, and more will be on display.  FIGI has produced some very nice T-shirts with a creation theme.  All proceeds from the purchase of these T-shirts goes to support the activities of FIGI.

FOUNDATIONS IN GENESIS OF IDAHO/OREGON

Foundations In Genesis of Idaho/Oregon, also known as ‘FIGI’ (pronounced fig-ee), is a local Creation Science organization that hosts Adult & Children's science seminars and geological field adventures. Bringing in scientists who are experts in their fields, FIGI Seminars & Field Adventures offer fascinating information and cutting edge evidence which encourages critical thinking and an understanding of factual science which are key in which worldview (biblical or evolutionary) a person chooses.

“For by Him all things were created…”   Colossians 1:16

“For in six days the Lord made the Heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them...”
Exodus 20:11

What does science tell us about the scriptures above?  Did everything evolve millions of years ago beginning with a big bang or are we living on a relatively young earth created by God?

Please join us. Our seminars are lay people friendly and are offered at no charge.  Our geological field adventures consist of local one day trips and camping expeditions and costs are minimal. Check out our website for a history of our past seminars & Field Adventures and for upcoming events.
