PRESENTS
THE EARTH'S SURFACE &
RECEDING FLOOD WATERS
by Mr. Michael Oard
How did the incredible
landscaping of the Earth’s surface really happen? We see what happens to a
particular area when a natural disaster hits and the many changes it brings
about in a short amount of time. What events sculpted the entire surface of the
Earth? This a BIG question. Think about the huge, magnificent mountain ranges,
the deserts, submarine canyons and so much more! All these features are
unique and abundant in the landscape of the Earth and are nearly impossible to
explain by the alternative uniformitarian model of slow processes over millions
of years. Mr. Oard will present evidence that the surface of the Earth was
formed by the runoff of the floodwaters of the flood described in Genesis.
Based solely on Scripture and
using the analogy of a flash flood, the Genesis Flood can be divided into two
main stages, the Flooding Stage in which the whole earth is completely flooded
within 150 days and the Retreating Stage in which the water drains off the
future continents between Day 150 and Day 371. Evidence that the surface of the
Earth was formed by the runoff of the Genesis flood will be presented.
In order for the water to drain, the crust of the earth must rise in some places
and subside in other places. Evidence for this differential vertical tectonics
will be shown. During the Retreating Stage, the receding floodwaters greatly
eroded the continents. During the erosion, planation surfaces were formed and
resistant rocks were transported hundreds of miles. Then as more mountains and
plateaus became exposed above the floodwater, the water is forced to channelized
and carve water and wind gaps, pediments, and submarine canyons. All these
features are unique and abundant in the landscape of the Earth and are nearly impossible to explain by the alternative uniformitarian model of slow
processes over millions of years.

A free-will offering will be received at both seminars to help cover the cost of bringing this outstanding speaker to our area.
CHILDREN’S CREATION SEMINARS
A Children’s Creation Seminar for children ages
5 - 12 accompanies each adult seminar. These seminars are designed for
children, presenting the same topic and information that is being offered in the
adult seminars. Children will receive an interactive mini-lecture combined with
demonstrations, songs, experiments, games, activities and snacks that all reinforce the topic.
Critical thinking skills are encouraged. We have grand time learning, sharing &
exploring theories, biology, geology, chemistry and more.
ENJOY OUR FELLOWSHIP TIME Please bring finger foods for our fellowship time following the seminar. This
fellowship time is a great opportunity to ask questions, meet new people, and to
visit with the speaker and with friends.
CREATION RESOURCES will be available for purchase
at both locations. DVD's, books, T-shirts, and more will be on display.
FIGI has produced some very nice T-shirts with a creation theme. All
proceeds from the purchase of these T-shirts goes to support the activities of FIGI.
CREATION SCIENCE LIBRARY
Creation Resources for all ages include a large selection of books, videos,
audios, & DVD’s from AIG, ICR, and many others. The library is free to use and
is currently located in Ontario, Oregon. Check out time is 1 month. Check
out and returns take place at the FIGI seminars. A library inventory list
is available on the FIGI website. Please connect to
